Carlisle Therapies is conveniently located in the centre of Carlisle, on the ground and first floor of 34 Lowther Street. Situated in a large Georgian townhouse we offer three custom designed rooms for hire. All our rooms benefit from large windows and natural light.
On the ground floor consultation Room 2 is equipped with a desk, an electric hydraulic couch and sink. It is ideal for body-work practitioners such as massage therapists and physiotherapists.
The first floor comprises two rooms and a small kitchen and may be rented out as a unit - which creates an ideal private space for mobile consulting - with a waiting room and consulting room. The rooms may also be rented individually. Room 4 is also an ideal space for workshops, training and courses.
Room 2 Ground Floor: Body-Work or Consultation
Situated on the ground floor Room 2 is equipped with an electric hydraulic couch, desk and sink. The plinth has additional width and cushioning for client comfort.
Room 2 is ideal for body-work practitioners such as massage therapists, physiotherapists and reflexologists. It is also ideal for podiatrists. It is popular with our visiting medical consultants.

Room 3 First Floor: Consultation
Equipped with up to 4 chairs (simply specify numbers required and high backed or low backed chairs) and a desk. Room 3 is situated on the first floor at the back of the building. It is a very quiet space, making it the room of choice for talking therapists such as counsellors and clinical hypnotherapists.
Room 3 may also be hired out as a remote office space.

Room 4 First Floor: Meetings, Small Group, Clubs
Room 4 is our largest room and most versatile space. It may be rented empty or with equipment such as tables and chairs (see image above).There are two large windows for ample natural light and shutters if darkness is preferred.
A popular venue for small meetings. There is a small kitchen on the first floor with tea and coffee making facilities.
Room 4 and Room 3 can be hired as a unit as they share the first floor (with the kitchen).

Prices
Fees for room rental vary, depending on your needs. There are full day, half day and hourly (2 hours minimum booking) options. Contact us, if you are interested in more exclusive room use.
Access
Rooms may be hired from Carlisle Therapies 7 days a week. Regular room hirers are issued with a key safe code. Non regulars simply need to specify their times and we will endeavour to accomodate you.
Please note that there is no disabled access to the centre.
Professional Liability & Qualifications
Proof of professional and public liability insurances will be requested prior to hiring a room from our centres.
