Learn to meditate in a day ... let 2018 be the year you begin to find your peace.

Kathy Hick, Associate Teacher with The Meditation Centre, Dent, will teach a simple, yet powerful, secular classical yogic meditation technique.   She will teach the technique step-by-step, and will answer your questions about meditation and how to begin your own daily meditation practice.

She will address the many misconceptions about meditation, helping to clear away confusion and obstacles that may have stopped you from enjoying meditation in the past, or put you off even trying it.

Kathy will explain the benefits of meditation, the process of the release of stress and how meditation can transform your life.

In the afternoon, Part 2, Kathy will continue to reinforce the morning's learning of the core meditation technique, as well as introduce other types of meditation you can use to bring variety into your daily meditation practice.

For the course (and later at home), you can sit on a chair, on the floor, on a cushion, kneel on a meditation stool, or lie down to meditate - whichever is most comfortable for you.

Please bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

This one-day course is casual and calm, held in a friendly and inclusive small-group setting at Carlisle Therapies in the city centre.

Suitable for ALL, from absolute beginners to experienced meditators.

This course is not religious.
