Thai Yoga Massage (Nuad Boraen, Traditional Thai Massage or Thai Massage) is a unique and powerful healing art that has been an integral part of traditional Thai medicine for thousands of years. Thai Yoga Massage is a truly wonderful experience for both giver and receiver as energy blockages are released, boundaries dissolve and deep healing occurs.

In a unique way, Thai Massage blends elements of acupressure, yoga, reflexology, physiotherapy, meditation, chiropractic and Ayurveda.

What happens in a session?
Thai Yoga Massage is done on a firm futon with the patient dressed in loose, comfortable clothers. Typically a session lasts from 1 - 2 hours.

The practitioner uses his thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet to apply a combination of acupressure, gentle rocking and twisting, joint and spine mobilisations and assisted yoga stretches.

With the practitioner using bodyweight instead of strength, and a steady, meditative rhythm, Thai Yoga Massage looks and feels like a graceful dance between giver and receiver

Some common benefits of Thai Yoga Massage are:

  • internal organs stimulated
  • increased vitality
  • tension & stress reduction
  • muscle release
  • improved posture

Thai Massage is a truly wonderful, healing massage. Not only does it resolve old physical problems but it rejuvenates and balances the mind and body.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for this treatment.
